Privacy Policy — AI Trend News (Etnew / 에트뉴) Service

1. What the service does

After you sign up (by email link or Google) and connect your Instagram professional account and/or Threads account through Meta Login, Etnew helps you publish and schedule posts, manage comments and direct messages (DMs), send an automatic private reply to comments that contain keywords you set (once per person, using only wording you have approved), view insights, and analyze hashtags and public accounts.

2. Data we collect

• Sign-up data: the email address you use to sign up or sign in.
• Connected account data (only within the permissions you grant on Meta's consent screen): the account identifier, public profile, posts, comments, DMs and insights of the Instagram or Threads account you connect.
• Public data returned by Meta's official APIs for hashtag and public-account analysis.
• Access records: logs of access to the service.

We do not collect your Meta password. We do not use scraping or unofficial tools.

3. How we use it

Only to provide the features in section 1 to you: running the actions you ask for, showing your own data back to you, and keeping the service secure and working. We do not sell your data and do not provide it to anyone for advertising or sale. We use data from Meta platforms in line with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including the Platform Terms' limits on data use.

4. Service providers

We use these kinds of providers to run the service:

• AI model provider — when you ask for help writing a post or reply, the text needed for that request may be sent to an AI model provider.
• Cloud hosting provider — hosts the service and stores its data.

These providers process data only to run the service for us. Their servers may be outside your country. We will name them in this policy when they are finalized.

5. Storage, security and retention

• Access tokens issued by Meta when you connect an account are stored encrypted. They are deleted when you disconnect the account or delete your Etnew account.
• Received DM text: you choose how long it is kept: keep indefinitely, or 30, 90 or 180 days. After the period you chose, only the sentences sent by the other person in older conversations are deleted.
• Backups: backup copies of deleted data may remain for up to 14 more days and are then deleted automatically.
• Other data is kept while your account is active and deleted without undue delay after you disconnect an account or delete your Etnew account, except where we are required by law to keep something.

6. Your choices and deletion

• You can disconnect an Instagram or Threads account at any time from inside the service, and you can delete your Etnew account.
• You can remove the app in your Instagram or Threads settings, or ask Meta to delete your data. We support Meta's data deletion request callback; see Data Deletion Instructions.
• You can also email contact@aitrendnews.kr to ask for access, correction or deletion of your data.

7. Children

The service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date. If the service starts to charge fees, we will announce that separately.
